Where is the theater?
CCP Performances have been held in the HOA1 Vistas dining room, Desert View Theater, SaddleBrooke Ranch stage, Mountain View ballroom, and the Mountain View stage. Most productions are on the Mountain View stage with dinner served between acts. Audiences enjoy a great show, in a wonderful venue while dining with friends, neighbors and relatives.
The Mountain View Ballroom is a very busy place. It is used by many organizations and individuals for everything from wedding receptions to yoga classes. As a result, except for a few days here and there, actors get very little time on stage – most rehearsals are conducted in Ballroom West.
HOA2 is actually quite generous with CCP because we commonly sell about 700 dinners plus the associated wine and liquor. Sets for the shows are placed on stage about a week prior to opening night and we generally have access to the stage all day, every day until closing night.
